25.4. To Warmth from Cold - Spring Concert at Äänekoski with Kosken laulu
On aika siirtyä kylmästä lämpimään! Kosken laulu ja Cantinovum laulavat yhteiskonsertissa Äänekoskella 25.4. klo 17. Konsertissa on väliaika. Väliaikatarjoilut hoitaa Honkolan koulun 4.lk. Konsertti vie kuulijan vuodenaikojen halki: talven tuiskuista kevään heräämiseen ja edelleen kesän valoon ja lämpöön. Kosken Laulun sävelet heijastelevat osittain talvista mielenmaisemaa ja ohjelmistossa kuullaan hieman kylmempiä sävyjä, kuten Pilven Piirtäjien Talviunta.…

Choir in residence of Jyväskylä University of applied sciences (Jamk)
Most of the approximately 30 singers in the choir study at Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences or the University of Jyväskylä. Cantinovum is known for performing music specifically composed for it, and the choir has premiered numerous choral works and made first recordings. Cantinovum has also undertaken several concert tours abroad and participated successfully in both domestic and international choral competitions. The choir is conducted by Rita Varonen, a lecturer in choral conducting at Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences.

We are currently open for high vocal soprano-singers & low vocal bass-singers.
You are not required to be a student of Jyväskylä university of applied sciences (JAMK), but student do get student credits from choir practice.
